- Our Response to Valid DMCA Notices
Upon receipt of a valid and complete DMCA takedown notice, Gentlemanessentials will:
- Acknowledge receipt of the notice within 3 – 5 business days
- Promptly investigate the claim and review the identified content
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material if the claim is substantiated
- Notify the party responsible for the content of the takedown, where applicable
- Maintain a record of the notice in accordance with applicable law
We reserve the right to decline action on notices that are incomplete, inaccurate, or submitted in bad faith.
- DMCA Counter-Notification
If you believe that material was removed from our website as a result of a DMCA notice submitted in error or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Your counter-notification must include:

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed material within 10 – 14 business days unless the complainant provides notice that they have filed a court action.
- Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and our commitment to protecting intellectual property, Gentlemanessentials maintains a policy of terminating access for users or parties who are found to be repeat copyright infringers.
- Misrepresentation Warning
Please be advised that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees incurred by the alleged infringer, the copyright owner, its licensee, or the service provider.
